PARKnSHOP set up the Academy to make sure that all staff that handle fresh food have been adequately training to do so and have been medically tested for their suitability to be a fresh food handler. For those not already immune, it is mandatory to be vaccinated against Hepatitis A as this disease can be transmitted via food if the food handler is carrying the virus.
